- A Lost Soul
- I am at the beginning of the end, walking towards my salvation from a world that wearied my soul. My moments of happiness turned against me. And I wish to go back, but my ticket is one way. Was I wrong when I thought I will pull through? Or did I lose my soul in the middle of nowhere? I look at people around me and as much as they seem close, they are far. The words stop at the tip of my tongue. This feeling, when you feel that you are the only one in the world who thinks that way. When you know that nobody will understand your pain, while you understand theirs. When you seek a dream because deep down you know it is the only place things will be right, and what you are going through will make sense.I remember when I took the last look at my past life, knowing that something broke inside me, announcing the beginning of my infinite bewilderment. Something that nobody can understand without living the moments I lived. Things I’ve tried hard to bury by working, laughing, or even being sarcastic. Yet, what in the heart remains in the heart.
